Do Re Mi Doggies offers a variety of services for the needs of families with dogs.
- Private training in your home to address dog behavior issues or to learn dog obedience training
- Group Classes -- see below for our schedule of beginner obedience and agility classes
- Pet Check Service -- We'll check on your pet when you are away at work, on vacation or out for the day. Reasonable rates!
- DIY Agility Equipment Classes --
Want to learn how to make your own agility equipment? This class will give you plans and show you how to work with PVC and other materials needed to make your own practice equipment.
A good dog is a happy dog that is motivated to behave in the way you want your dog to behave in your home, out on a walk, or in other more formal obedience/agility settings. I believe that the training that works is the training that you should use. My focus is on POSITIVE reinforcement as that motivates a dog to WANT to behave correctly rather than to be afraid of performing incorrect behaviors. Still, not every approach works on every dog. I use and teach a variety of methods and try to help you to determine what is best for YOUR dog.
Class Schedule:
Beginning Obedience/Home Obedience
No classes scheduled at this time
First class - no dogs, bring rabies certificate
Meets once a week for 6 weeks
Cost: $50 Outdoors and weather permitting - will
make up any classes missed due to weather
Beginning Agility
No beginning agility class planned yet. Stay tuned and if there's interest, one will be scheduled soon!
DIY Agility Equipment
